This is Edgar. This is what he looked like for about sixteen hours late Tuesday-Wednesday morning. He's back! I finally found him late Tuesday afternoon. I went out to call for him (again), and this time I heard him crying in our backyard. I called, he cried, I called, he cried. I finally found him on the edge of our woods hunkered down and terrified. I picked him and up and, yes, I started to bawl. I was just so happy to have my cat back. He slept right in between my legs the entire night Tuesday, and other than being a little dirty and completely exhausted he seems to be no worse for wear. Thank goodness!

Oh I'm so happy! I wouldn't know what to do if Maddi did that. She was lost for about 30 minutes once and I cried the entire time.

oh, i'm so glad that edgar's back! but also so sad that poor alex has gone. however, it sounds like it is the best for him- how is audrey adjusting to not having him there?
