A Grumpy Trio

Three grumpy people arrived at a company appreciation picnic. They called this a company appreciation picnic; although, the employees brought all the food. Anyway, three grumpy people showed up: A tall man, a woman with a growing belly, and a little pumpkin. Why were these people all grumpy you ask? Well, because the night before the little pumpkin decided that playtime began at midnight and continued until nearly 2:00 a.m. And so, the tall man and the woman with the growing belly had to sit in the pumpkin's playroom until she decided that she would no longer scream after she was put back in her bed. And hence, these people were all grumpy. They managed to stay cordial but made a rather quick disappearance after the potluck dinner.
